Casa Salvia is a fictional guest house with four places to stay: two double rooms, a suite with a fireplace and a cottage in the garden. Breakfast is served at the big kitchen table and the evenings stretch out on the porch.

RoomA bright room that opens onto the garden.
Sage-green walls, a wooden floor and a double bed with linen sheets. Morning light comes in through the window and you can hear the garden. It has a private bathroom with a shower, a wardrobe and a small writing table.

A calm white room with a gauze-canopy bed, a wooden chest at its foot and a wicker mirror. It is the favourite of guests who come to rest. Private bathroom with a bathtub.
SuiteA wooden ceiling, a sitting room of its own and a fireplace.
The suite fills the wing of the house with the wooden ceiling. It has a double bed, a sofa bed for a third person and a fireplace for cold evenings. Private bathroom with a large shower.
Garden cottageA little yellow cottage with a porch for four.
Independent and quiet, with two bedrooms, a kitchenette, a porch with chairs and a bay window to read in. Perfect for a family or two couples. Breakfast is served in the main house or, if you prefer, on your porch.

Every morning we lay the table with a checked cloth: bread, pastries, fruit, eggs and coffee. There is no hurry; you have breakfast chatting with whoever sits next to you.
If you have an allergy or a special diet, tell us when you write.
The kitchen is the heart of the house: wood, vintage crockery and a window onto the vegetable patch. Some evenings we set the long table and have dinner all together, with local produce.
Books, blankets and a fire in the fireplace as soon as it turns cool. A corner to read, play cards or do nothing at all, with a cup of tea.
A garden with hydrangeas, a brick patio with chairs for the afternoon sun and a porch where people linger late. Bicycles are available.

Casa Salvia sits in a quiet valley, a few minutes’ walk from a trail that leads down to a lake. There is free parking next to the house and the nearest station is twenty minutes away by car (example address).
