About us

Cerrajería Aldaba

Cerrajería Aldaba is a small locksmith business for homes, shops and small residential buildings. We open doors, change cylinders and locks, cut key copies, reinforce doors and look after safes and padlocks.

Every enquiry is handled by a person who asks what is going on, asks for a photo if it is safe to take one and, if needed, agrees a visit with you to see the door. We explain what we think should be done before we start, and the quote comes in writing.

What we do

Locks, keys and doors

  1. A key in the lock of a door

    Door opening

If you are locked out or the key has broken, we look at the door and find a way to open it with as little damage as possible.

  2. Old panelled door with a handle and a lock

    Cylinder and lock changes

We change the cylinder or the whole lock of your door and hand you the new keys.

  3. A bunch of old keys on a table

    Key cutting

Copies of house and mailbox keys, and new sets when they have been lost.

  4. A key ring with keys and a car remote on a white table

    Car keys and remotes

Copies of car keys and remotes, depending on the model. We tell you beforehand what can be done with yours.

  5. Blue metal door with several fastenings and a warning sign

    Security doors and reinforcements

Repair of security locks and reinforcements for home and shop doors.

  6. Detail of a safe door with a brass knob

    Safes

Opening, checking and changing the combination or key of home and shop safes.

  7. Many colourful combination padlocks hanging together

    Padlocks and fastenings

Frequently asked questions

How do I ask for a quote?

Use the form on the contact page: it prepares a WhatsApp or e-mail message with what you need. If you can, add a photo of the door or the lock, only if it is safe to take one.

Do you need to see the door first?

A photo often helps, but for a reliable quote seeing the door is the norm. We agree it with you.

Are prices on the website?

Some services can show a “from” price if the business writes one; the final price is agreed after seeing the case.

Do I have to show that the door is mine?

To open or change a lock you may be asked to show that the home or shop is yours or that you have the right to enter. We tell you when we talk.
