About us

Cubiertas Alero

Cubiertas Alero is a small roofing business for homes, small residential buildings and sheds. We repair leaks, renew tile, slate and metal roofs, waterproof terraces and flat roofs, and replace gutters and downpipes.

Every enquiry is handled by a person who asks what you can see, asks for a photo if it is safe to take one and agrees a visit with you to look at the roof. We explain what we think should be done before we start, and the quote comes in writing.

What we do

From the roof to the waterproofing

  • Tiled roof with a chimney and a ladder leaning on it

    Leaks and repairs

We find where the water gets in and repair it: slipped or broken tiles, flashings, joints with chimneys and walls.

    Ask — Leaks and repairs
  • Roof under work with clay tiles laid in rows

    Tile roofs

Roof renewal: lifting the tiles, checking the battens and laying new or reclaimed tiles.

    Ask — Tile roofs
  • Roll of waterproof membrane on a flat roof

    Waterproofing of flat roofs

Terraces and flat roofs with membrane: we prepare the base, lay the sheet and take care of the joints and drains.

Ask — Waterproofing of flat roofs
  • Water falling from a gutter on a rainy day

    Gutters and downpipes

Cleaning, repair and replacement of gutters and downpipes so water leaves where it should.

  • Slate roof with two small dormers

    Slate and metal roofs

Slate, zinc and sheet-metal roofs: laying, repair and made-to-measure finishing.

Ask — Slate and metal roofs
  • Roof window in a tiled roof

    Chimneys, flashings and skylights

Sealing and finishing around chimneys, vents and roof windows, which are where water most often gets in.

Frequently asked questions

How do I ask for a quote?

Use the form on the contact page: it prepares a WhatsApp or e-mail message with what you see. If you can, add a photo, only if it is safe to take one.

Do you need to see the roof first?

Usually yes: a photo helps, but for a reliable quote a visit is the norm. We agree it with you.

Are prices on the website?

No: every roof is different and the price is agreed after seeing it.

What if it rains on the day?

Roof work depends on the weather: if it does not help, we reschedule with you.
