The studio
Ancla Negra is an author-led tattoo studio with three resident artists. We mostly work on original designs: every piece is drawn for you, starting from your idea and the area where it will live.
Before any tattoo, we talk. You tell us what you want, show us references and we decide size, style and placement together. If you prefer something more direct, there are also flash days with ready-drawn designs.

Flash day
Pick a ready-drawn design and we tattoo it that same day.
General notes so you know what to expect. They do not replace your artist’s instructions.
Your artist’s word comes first
Every skin and technique is different. Follow the notes the studio gives you for your piece.
Clean hands
It is usual to wash your hands before touching the area and to use only the products the studio has suggested.
Clothing and friction
Loose, clean clothing over the area is usually suggested in the first days. Ask the studio what suits your case.
Sun, water and exercise
The studio will tell you how long to avoid direct sun, pools, the sea or intense workouts.
